Wish you the best...I guess the best thing about all this is that you'll feel sooo grateful for your next couple of runs.

Happy rehab!

Great to see you take the first steps in coming back. You're right that the first month is so important. You'll want to do more, but need to be patient.

Enjoy!

Rad that you're running again. Good luck ramping back up.

Congrats, Gary! Reminds me not to take my ability to run for granted. Ramp it up safely and before you know it, you will be running the big races again. Before you laugh at what I'm going to say, give it some thought. As you get back into the running groove, you should consider trying a bit of yoga. The barefoot nature of it will strengthen the feet and legs without the major stress and pounding of adding the mileage. Best of luck in your training and staying healthy!

Woot! Woot! May that be your mantra over the next little while "baby steps". For an endurance athlete, 100 days of not moving is an eternity but really....it's just 100 days. Have patience with the rehab and let your self go super gradual through the next 100 days!

That is so awesome, dude! It will all happen for you. I broke my knee and had to be on crutches for a couple of months and couldn't run for a very long time, but I am back at it and stronger than before (probably because of the screws!). Before you know it things will be back in order.
