-23hr40m of running.
-130km of tough West Coast Trail completed.
-At least four toenails sacrificed.
-AND IT WAS ALL WORTH IT BABY!!!
I'm on top of the world right now. Even if in time, another runner or group of runners can exceed my time for these trails, they can never take away the fact that I was the very first person to have ever accomplished this...and solo at that.
I'm half drunk while I celebrate with a few friends, but figured I should put a quick update on here. My running report will follow in the days to come...
WOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO,

Congratulations buddy! Your courage and desire is exceeded only by your good looks... good job though.

You are amazing!! Dead toenails are heinous though but I guess they are worth the sacrifice. Congratulations!
See you in September.

Running the JDF trail with you last summer and knowing how technical it was, this is an impressive feat. You should be proud. Now just get your Western Qualifier at Stormy next weekend!

Good job Gary - most impressive. I ran the JDF Trail 2 years ago solo (and in the light) and soreness had me moving at a crawl near the end. Doing 150% after that would not have been an option.
I'll see you at another race sometime soon.
