Listen Up!!

Check out my recent interview on 'Endurance Planet'!

I was honored to be a featured speaker on their site as they have hosted some top names within the endurance world. Just last week adventure racer Mike Kloser from team Nike was on there!

It's a huge online resource for everything endurance based, and they have some great membership options. Be sure to have a good look around while you're in there and thanks in advance for listening to the interview!

Congrats on a VERY impressive year Gary. Not only did you meet your personal goals... as well as test your levels of ''stubbornness''. But you also mangaed to contribute to the trail/adventure running world by inspiring many others-We have seen your failures( really.. only a few hee hee)...but you kept on going! No medal or 'ranking' could measure up to how much you have inspired (and helped) others. Keep it up!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THAT COMMENT!! Even my Dad took the time to e-mail me and say, "Did you notice that amazing comment on your blog? I promise you it wasn't me either!!"

Again, thanks so much, greatly appreciated!

Happy Holidays!

Oops, I forgot to sign my comment above- so for the record, Gary did not write the glowing compliments to himself, it was me. Seasons Greetings!

That was fun to listen to. I can't wait for my first hallucination. What does it stem from? Does it mean you need to re-fuel?

garobbins said...

Thanks again Heather!

Gilder, from my experience the hallucinations have all been caused by extreme exhaustion and lack of sleep. On the second night of a 36hr race, having been up for over 48hr, is the earliest I've had anything happen. Not sure you'd get anything in a hundred miler, I'm sure it's possible though?

Hmmmm, 2 beers??? what kind of beer is wheat free anyway? and weird question... do you naturally have all kinds of energy or what? I know you're young and all but sheesh I get tired just reading about all that exercising...

I guess I've been told on a few occasions that I have some energy to burn!
I just found out a few weeks ago that every micro brew through The Mark James Group of breweries is wheat free!! $3.75 pints on Sunday nights...a yes please!

Hey Gary- you gonna make it to Washington? Impressed you are going to get rid of your TV- I couldn't do it- being at home with a 3 month old I need some kind of portal to the outside world...

Unfortunately no, I have to do a running talk to a new group of walk-runners up in Squamish for 'The Sun Run' InTraining program. Should be fun though, especially since I used to coordinate it a few years back. Jackie and I are gonna sneak up to The Callaghan afterwards for some skate skiing as well.
Have fun over there...we'll meet...one day...I promise!!
