WCT Speed Record!! 10h08m!!

Here's my 'finish line celebration' video. It's all I've got for now, plenty more to come though! Thanks so much for everyone who helped out along the way and for all the words of encouragement pre and post run. It's a pretty special community we exist in and I feel incredibly fortunate to be a small part of it all.

You're like Survivor Man of the ultra world. The video is classic Blair Witch home video. Congratulations on the feat and thanks for sharing your immediate thoughts fresh off the trail.

That was crazy. I never thought anyone could run the WCT, let alone in just over 10 hours.

Awesome feat.

Hey Gary,

We saw you at Chez Moniques while enjoying our burgers. I was amazed when you wolfed down those chocolate bars and were gone. We have some pictures for you if you want them; I will send them to your email.

I was washing dishes in the ocean at about 8am around km 30 and looked up to see someone running and waving on the trail... I looked at my sister and two German guys who were also camped there who were equally as confused as to who/what had just ran by us. The ferry guy at Nitinat Narrows explained it, and we made sure to look you up when we got home. Congrats on making it!
