Thanks so much to everyone who entered, and to all for the overwhelming support throughout my Western States experience! I apologize that my race report has not yet been written or posted but my Dad is only here until Tues night...and in all honesty, I'd much rather be spending time with him right now then sitting in front of a computer blogging! The recap is already written in my head and will be posted by mid next week for sure. Thanks for your patience:)
Sorry Nicola, blame me. For some reason My post went on twice! so I deleted one of them.
Gary, GREAT job finishing WS 100. I know you may have had higher expectations.. but with that massive drop out rate (some running legends included), your blisters etc... you really slogged it out to finish under 24 hr! Always impressive.
As for the Orthotics... say what?? Even from a physio point of view, a man who can run 100 mi/week WITHOUT blisters does NOT need orthotics! Obviously the heat/perspiration/distance were more of a factor and you will address that with gear/changes etc.
Oh, and thanks for Vanna, er Roxy the wonder dog turning up the numbers, very entertaining.
Roxy thanks everyone for their comments:) Mo, I told her to stay unbiased throughout the process, but I think if people dug a bit deeper and learned that you sent her valentines day treats we might have a demanded recount on this one...she will no longer accept bribes in the future so as not to taint her character! GR

Dammit! Looks like I'll be pacing Tim by candlelight at Stormy next month...
That was about as unbiased and transparent a selection process as anyone could ask for. Thanks for keeping us entertained Gary!
